You are the answer?.....

“You are the answer you’ve been looking for”…… sounds cliche right ?

However hear me out, the truth is the answers are inside of you but we have been so conditioned since childhood and within society to look outside of us for the answers. That we have built up concrete layers around us that when this is suggested to us it often seems an alien concept. So we have to begin the process of peeling back the layers to find out what’s inside of us, and rediscover the lost pieces of us and remember who we are.

This doesn’t mean we don’t ask for help when we need it but it means learning to rediscover what’s inside of you, so you can objective with yourself and others and learn to understand your feelings and the feedback they are giving you.

So how do we access this inside of us, when we feel blocked and it feels impossible and you don’t know what direction to go in.

  • When we ask ourselves “what would the answer be if there was no condition to it?”, the first answer that comes to mind is what we need to hear and what we can work with. Even if it feels crazy, the key here is to listen to it because this is how we learn to strengthen our intuition.

  • Your feelings are feedback and off feelings give you all the answers you need, and it’s learning to trust them and listen to them and not knock them off as fear, this is the same with the good feelings. It’s using your discernment, and actually listening honestly to them, which can feel scary at first because more than often we don’t trust ourselves, because we have been programmed not to.

  • Whats the story you have around this topic, explore this honestly, because more than often as a child you will have been conditioned to listen to others rather than yourself and we are never taught to nurture listening to ourselves as we develop into adults. So we need to unravel this story and rewrite it, that the answers are inside of us. I suggest journaling with this, when you see that in front of you can see where you are at with it, and then set about rewriting it, in my experience you will need to do it a few times so you wire it into you, and connect to the feeling of it. Watch your feelings as you do this because it will be more than lightly be uncomfortable at first, but persevere with this because it’s really worth it.

  • Meditate, this really reconnects you with yourself, everyone has different ideas and views on meditation, its finding the way that works for you, this may change over time as you grow and change, but the key with meditation is practise and consistency, its gets us quiet and listening to what’s inside of us even its it busy. Meditation is powerful medicine, that works and helps us access the answers inside of us.

  • Connect with nature, its the place that slows us down and grounds us which opens us up to listening to what’s going on inside of us. It’s free and it allows to step outside of our busy lives, I suggest doing this regularly, even it’s briefly.

  • Dance or listen to music, moving our bodies and feeling the rhythm really does reconnect us, we instantly create a shift inside of us and alter our vibration which allows us to tune in and feel more and listen.

  • Lastly as I always say to the people around me is ‘is it a hell yes’, because if it’s not, it tells you a lot and is worth listening to and it’s more than lightly a no, because more than often the when we know we know, but we are afraid of that. We often go along with stuff to people please and convince ourselves that it will be ok, rather than listen to what we are really feeling. I would really suggest asking yourself this regularly.

I hope this is helpful and helps you explore this and helps you begin to reconnect with yourself and the idea that the answers are inside of you. Give some of these suggestions a go and remember it’s a process and like I said at the beginning it’s peeling back the layers, but it’s a truly empowering thing when we are able to work from within.

I would love to hear what you think and how you relate to this.

If you sign up to my email list, where I’ll be sharing lots of stuff that I don’t share on here and a giveaway soon, there is a free meditation, which as I said above is a great way to reconnect to yourself.

All my love
